Mandy Pratt, Elementary Principal
I am a graduate of Bob Jones University with a degree in Practical Christian Training. For the past 10 years, my husband and I have been serving in the ministry here at Grace. My daughter attends GCS. It is my desire to serve the Lord here and meet the needs of families who God brings our way. I’m excited to currently be working towards my Masters in Educational Leadership from Southeastern University.
Jesse Wilson, Upper School Dean of Students
I graduated from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke with a Bachelors Degree. I also played 4 years of college basketball. After college I joined the U.S. Army, where I served on two deployments; to Afghanistan and Iraq. The Lord has made a home for me here at Grace Christian. I started teaching in the Spring of 2016. My passion is teaching and learning the Lord’s word and sharing it with our younger generation. One of my life verses is, Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me”.
Pam Beal, Dean of Academics
I received a B.A. in English from UNC-Greensboro and my M.Ed. from the University of South Carolina at Columbia. After teaching in NC public schools for 31 years, I joined the teaching staff here at GCS where I teach high school English. I currently serve as the Academic Dean. I love being a part of a Christian “family” at Grace; I am excited about the enthusiasm of the students here.
Stephen Cross, Athletic Director
I am honored and blessed to be the Athletic Director and Women’s Basketball Coach at Grace Christian School. I graduated from Clearwater Christian College in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. I have over 17 years experience in Athletic Administration working at schools in Florida, South Carolina, Virginia and North Carolina. My goal for the GCS athletic program is to provide an excellent sports program that will allow and encourage our student athletes to honor and glorify God in all that they do (I Corinthians 10:31), understanding that athletics is something that God allows us to do, not something that defines us. I also will coach the Varsity Women’s Basketball team. I have 24 years experience coaching basketball, leading and being part of a State Championship Team, two undefeated teams, and other numerous district and conference championship teams. Success to me is more than just winning games, it is the ongoing process of becoming better than we once were, and giving credit to THE ONE who gave us our abilities – Jesus Christ. I have been married for 23 years to my wife, Melinda, and we have four wonderful kids – Kaley, Caleb, Elijah and Cade.
