Over 160 Crusader students in Grades K-6th participated in the first ever GCS Jump Rope for Heart event.
- This event raised awareness for heart disease and over $6,000 for the American Heart Association through individual donations.
- The all day event consisted of fast-paced aerobic activities, culminating in various jump–rope competitions.
- Additionally, the school nurse educated students on characteristics of a healthy heart, and establishing good habits to promote a healthy heart.
- Special Thanks to Mrs. Jensen our JRFH Coordinator and to our parent volunteers volunteered to make this day an huge success!
